Sally Lunn Bread

Make this bread.  It's so good, and it was easy.  Yeast breads generally scare me, but making this was really a piece of cake.  I skipped the brown butter, but I did put a dish of butter out to soften while the bread baked, then I added in a bit of honey. Yum!

Hi Andrea. I've been scouting your blog for some ways to fatten up Stevie and so we made this bread today. Somehow the whole loaf is gone even though Stevie hasn't gotten around to trying it yet, poor kid! Don't worry, I'll make him some more. You are going to have to make this again yourself and make the browned butter thing. And double that part so you can have some waffles. I can't believe you skipped the whole best part! Are you sure we're related?? Thanks for the recipe! xox Maria

  2. Maria- Trust me, we're related. I would eat honeyed brown butter by the spoonful. I just ran out of time. Next time... Also, I don't know if I should be honored or offended that you look to my blog to find "fattening" recipes :)
