Sugar and spice and everything nice (+giveaway!)

I always knew that I wanted a girl.  The pink, the lace, the bows...what's more fun than dressing them up?  Hadley has started to take control of her wardrobe, but I've reserved the right to enforce one rule- she must wear a shirt, any shirt, when leaving the house.   Luckily, she will still let me accessorize her.

It's rare to see Hadley without a Lilibug Boutique barrette in her hair.  The shop is owned by a stay at home mom, and everything is handmade.  The bows are affordable and well made.  I love to give them as a small, but appreciated, baby gift.  Hadley gets compliments on her bows every single time we go out, and she shows them off proudly.

See that pink butterfly?  I once walked through the grocery store for about an hour while wearing that in my hair.  Oops.

The owner of LiliBug Boutique has generously offered to give one of you this adorable Valentine's set that includes a hairbow and a headband, perfect for the little princess in your life.

Just leave a comment below to enter, and make sure you include your name so you'll know if you're the winner .  The giveaway will be open until 10:00 PM PST on Monday, January 17th.  The winner will be drawn at random and named that night on this post.  In the meantime, go check out her site; the bows are too cute!

UPDATE:  Using Random.org, the winner is comment #9, Tara H!  Email me your address at dwellingonthepositive@gmail.com and LiliBug will get your prize sent to you.  Congratulations!

  13. So awesome, Andrea! I LOVE the story of you walking through the store with the giant pink butterfly on your head! Luciya doesn't keep things in her hair for too long, but i have a feeling Mirabel is going to let me doll her up as much as I want to! Great blogging, dear.
